About the Eureka Symphony

We are a committed group of musicians and volunteers bringing classical and new symphonic movements to the northcoast!

• Our Board is drawn from community members who are passionate about orchestral music.

Welcome friends, to the Eureka Symphony's 20th year!

Maestra Carol Jacobson has chosen a range of interesting and complex music for our anniversary concerts this year and has invited outstanding soloists to perform. I look forward to hearing Eureka native Ryan MacEvoy McCullough, our own Fred Tempas on the tuba, and virtuoso violinist Terrie Baune, who will perform on opening night.

We are excited to produce the Holiday Concert again this year with highlights from the Messiah, The Snowman and audience sing-along. This was a sold-out concert last year, so please buy your tickets right away in order not to miss this great performance.

Last year we provided a free concert for 700 elementary children from across the county. We are planning to repeat this concert next spring and with your financial help, increase that number to 1400.

You, the audience are one of our most important assets, and we wish to thank you for support. We also embrace every new friend and audience member. Playing to a full house is very inspirational and your ticket purchase and advertisements in the playbill make these performances possible.
